A book written in 1678, gifted to a person in 1900 (handwritten note inside), and treasured by me in 2021. Oh, to write a story as long-lasting as this!
Click here for an online text of the book (via desiringgod.org ) that also shares information about Bunyan’s life and the things that make the story a literary masterpiece.
What an amazing find! I am excited for you. ^_^ I like to collect books too. Old ones are some of the most special ones. 🙂

I especially love it when I find a note from a loved one or a bookmark inside!

That truly does make it even more magical of a find. 🐾

I am not sure what emoji just went through, but it was an accident. Bumped the emoji list right before hitting send. Sorry about that.

I’m nearly done reading part two of Pilgrims Progress with Christiana. When my girls were little I read to them the children’s version of Pilgrims Progress.
I like old classics too like Little Women and Jane Eyre.🙂

I read “Little Women” again recently. And reading books from my own childhood is pretty fun. “Charlotte’s Web” is even better when you read it as an adult!
